Mental Health

CHCBH is committed to providing all our patients with support they need to ensure a healthier lifestyle. Mental and emotional health is a big part of reaching that goal, and we are proud to have caring providers to assist patients in need of support in those areas.

One in 6 children and one in 5 adults will experience a mental health problem in their lifetime. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among people ages 10-34. This number is at an all time high in the United States and western South Dakota is no exception.

Self-care is important for everyone. The first step to self-care is reaching out for help when needed. Our case managers, counselors and psychiatric providers are here to help you meet your needs to live an overall healthy lifestyle. We are here to provide quality mental health care for our community.

We offer outpatient counseling and psychiatric services, to both children and adults. Case management is offered to adults and families.
