Community Health Center of the Black Hills located in Rapid City adjacent to the beautiful Black Hills of western South Dakota is seeking a full-time Dentist.
For over 20 years our staff of medical professionals has been providing patients with the highest quality medical care and programs for overall healthy living. CHCBH operates a medical clinic, pediatric clinic, oral health clinic, and a school-based clinic.  Our great Oral Health Center offers a full complement of preventive and restorative care. As a dentist with us you will work as part of a dental team to provide a full complement of preventive and restorative care services. After greeting our patients and listening to their concerns it is the Dentist's responsibility to perform general dentistry practices, complete oral exams, appropriately diagnose, record findings and initiate treatment plans for your patients.  After making a diagnosis you will develop and implement a treatment plan for your patients. Treatment plans may include; ordering appropriate laboratory tests, x-rays, prescription drugs as determined by patient's needs or referring patients to dental specialists for treatment.

At CHCBH we provide patient-focused care and want to ensure that you always take the time to instruct and counsel with patients and their families about their treatment and care plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DDS or DMD degree, one year experience in clinical setting desired
  • Advanced knowledge of treatment

Certified Dental Assistant

CHCBH is looking for a Certified Dental Assistant to join our team! Dentrix or Mediadent experience a plus. Must be professional, caring, dependable, willing to work with patients of all ages, and be eager to learn. Competitive wages and benefits offered.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares patient for exam and provides chair assistance and charting to assist the provider and dental hygienist as required.
  • Provide oral health education and stellar customer service to patients of all ages
  • Adheres to established standard precaution guidelines and infection control practices utilizing protective attire and barrier techniques.
  • Exposes and processes dental radiographs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current South Dakota Dental Assisting and Dental Radiography certificate (or eligible for certification examination)
  • Current CPR certification



Finance Director

Our Finance Director is responsible fo rthe financial management of the organization. This position directs and manages the financial programs of the organization, to include budgeting, receipt of revenue, expenditure of funds, and conservation of assets in accordance with policies and procedures developed by the Board of Directors and in compliance with state and federal regulations.  This position works with our administrative team to further CHCBH's misson and execute strategic plan along with providing strategic consultation and representation to organization leadership on finanical issues to inclue finanical analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue ane expense analysis

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field; Masters degree
  • 5+ years finanical experience in a multi-funded, non-profit organization (health care preferred)
  • Experience with financial management and reporting releated to federal grants
  • Experience in revenu cycle management in a health care environment preferred.



X-Ray tech

Employment Type:  Part-Time, 10 Hours a week.

Community Health Center of the Black Hills is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to cover vacation and sick leave. The technologist would be providing imaing in a general radiography room and would need to be knowledgeble in performing general diagnostic imaging according to Radiologist protocols. The technologist needs to be able to work independently in the radiography room as well as possess great communication and teamwork skills when working with other members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ARRT certified or eligible for certification
  • Computer and trouble shooting skills required.
  • Previous imaging experience preferred.
