Through a staff of Medical Doctors, Physician Assistants, Certified Nurse Practitioners, Dentists and support staff, Community Health Center of the Black Hills gives unconditional primary care. Our staff performs most routine medical services and practices several specialized fields. If Community Health Center cannot perform a service, we help arrange for the service elsewhere.
We offer dental cleanings for adults and children, as well as emergency dental care, permanent fillings and regular dental exams. Services are available at our General Beadle Clinic and our Monroe Street Clinic.
To those who qualify, we can help find free or low-cost medications. The program is geared towards patients without any medical insurance. We also accept patients that have Medicare without medication benefits.
The South Dakota Family Planning Program offers birth control and education, counseling, and family planning services to both men and women. In addition to helping prevent unintended pregnancies, they can help maintain or improve your general and reproductive health. Rapid HIV and STD (sexually transmitted disease) testing is available for both men and women on a sliding scale fee-based system. For those patients 18 and under, services are offered for a donation only and are kept completely confidential.
The All Women Count! Program provides women without insurance between the ages of 30 and 65 with important tests like pap smears, breast exams and mammograms. All Women Count also offers diabetic and cholesterol screenings.
