Outreach and Enrollment Specialist

Summary:

The Outreach & Enrollment Specialist's (OES) responsibilities include increasing access to care through application and enrollment assistance for people who may be eligible for the New Health Insurance Marketplace. Under the new Affordable Care Act, the OES will provide enrollment and application assistance and follow-up. Represent Community Health Center of the Black Hills (CHCBH) in a variety of community resources to increase awareness and promote support for comprehensive, sustained community programs designed and targeted to meet the primary health care need of the under-served populations. Develop new collaborative efforts and partnerships to support the mission of CHCBH.
Minimum requirements:
  • Must have Associate's degree in Human Services field OR proficient education in the Health Insurance Market Place and Affordable Care Act.
  • Experience in planning and implementing projects and coordination of functions and setting goals and meeting timelines promptly.
  • Must have at least 3 years previous experience in health care setting; preferably involving state and federal health care programs.
  • Commitment to community health care; experience in/with FQHC's a plus.
