Integrated Mental Health Social Worker

As part of our growing integrated health model, this role serves as the primary interface for patients needing behavioral health services and/or opioid use or abuse services. This individual will work closely with our medical staff to provide screening, assessment, individual and group counseling, education and case management services for Community Health patients. An anticipated 50% of the time will be dedicated to mental health services and 50% to opioid services (with some anticipated overlap).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate plans for the provision of mental health and support services jointly with the center staff
  • Conduct brief, non-stigmatizing screenings to evaluate needs of adults, adolescents and/or children
  • Perform comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments and conduct appropriate follow-up
  • Develop & maintain collaborative relationships with community providers of services
  • User inter-agency approach to ensure referrals are appropriate and meet patients’ needs
  • Develop, implement and evaluate a case service plan, including agreed-upon goals to address patient needs including social supports to promote long-term self-sufficiency

Qualifications:

  • CSW or LPC required; CSW-PIP or LPC-MH preferred
  • South Dakota licensure
  • 2-3 years’ experience, preferably with culturally diverse families

Accountant

CHCBH is looking for a highly motivated professional Accountant for a local non-profit Health Center located in Rapid City. 

The ideal candidate will ideally possess at least 2-5 years of accounting experience including bank reconciliations, general ledger journal entries, daily financial functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivables, organizational cash flows.

The Accountant is responsible for the assistance and coordination of the day to day accounting processes:

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Monthly journal entries and month end account reconciliations
  • Responsible for accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate government standards and regulatory compliance
  • Assist Finance Director to ensure that expenditures are consistently aligned with grant and program budgets throughout the grand/fund period; collate financial reporting materials for government, and corporate grants.
  • Manage Organizational cash flows
  • Receive and process al organizational revenue and reconciliation on a monthly basis
  • Assist Finance Director in completing the U.D.S, Cost Report and other required reporting, meeting required deadlines.
  • Assist Finance Director in preparation of year end audit materials.
  • Preparing and analyzing financial data to support business decisions.
  • Works independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Acts as project manager for special projects.
  • Prepare monthly department budget to actual tracking and analysis in support of Finance Director annual organization budget tracking.
  • Assists in oversight of credentialing & privileging process for provider staff.

Patient Support Specialist

We are looking for a hardworking, compassionate, and driven individual to join our Patient Support Specialist (PSS) team! PSS are the first face-to-face contact a patient has in our clinic. So this person must have great customer service skills and a desire to provide patients with a positive and timely registration and check-in process. The ideal candidate works great as a team and is able to learn detailed tasks quickly. Shifts vary and PSS must be able to work Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Reliable transportation and the ability to make it to each shift is a must.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet all patients in a prompt, courteous manner.
  • Coordinates walk-in patients by arrival time.
  • Assists and/or completes patient registration and verifies all financial coverage's emphasizing third party enrollment and including any discount programs available through CHCBH.
  • Verifies patient insurance and works closely with billing staff.
  • Maintains communication with medical support staff regarding status of waiting patients and keeps all waiting patients informed of their status and projected time of service delivery.
  • Collects appropriate payment according to standards and completes payment plans with patients.
  • Maintains distribution and control of patient surveys concerning clinic services.
  • Schedules according to standard for all services and staff as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous clinic experience preferred, but not required.

Pharmacist

We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team! You will be responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners. This is a PRN position and the wage depends on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Compound and dispense prescribed medications
  • Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications
  • Provide patients with pertinent drug information
  • Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
  • Supervise and maintain records of all medications

Radiologic Technologist

The Community Health Center of the Black Hills is in need of a PRN Radiologic Technologist to cover vacation and sick leave. The technologist needs to be able to work independently in the radiography room as well as possess great communication and teamwork skills when working with other members of the healthcare team. This position has the potention for becoming full time.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide imaging in a general radiography room
  • Perform general diagnositc imaging according to Radiologist protocols
  • Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations
  • Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
  • Maintain patient medical records
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification or eligible for certification
  • Excellent computer and trouble shooting skills
